Wishlist – To help the Friends of the Gilroy Library operate more efficiently and effectively on behalf of Gilroy Library programs.
Things we need could be new or used, if functioning
Cash Register – Will replace cash box, permit issuing receipts, allow calculations and locking storage.
People we need
Members – we always look for new members to participate.
Bookstore staff– Open the bookstore, shelve donations, make book sales, straighten shelves. Goal: to have bookstore open all hours when library is open. Training will be provided.

Join the Board – all board positions up for election, September 2024 – Attend the General Meeting at 7 PM to get an update on Friends’ activities and potential library changes.
Sign up with GoodShop, get discount$ on a wide range of your shopping needs, and have a percentage of your purchases go towards Friends of the Gilroy Library. It’s a win-win! 😃.

Benevity and YourCause
If your employer isn’t signed up with Benevity or YourCause, they may have their own program that enable employees to conveniently support charitable organizations. For instance, HP has a matching gift program, with Friends of the Gilroy Library as beneficiary.
