DONATION GUIDELINES
Donated items must be CLEAN and in GOOD CONDITION.
Boxes/bags holding donated items must be CLEAN and of MANAGEABLE SIZE.
YES! We are happy to accept:
- BOOKS
- DVDs and CDs
- Current MAGAZINES: (i.e. nothing older than 5 years) Leave magazines stacked on shelves, outside Friends’ Book Store door.
NO! We do not accept:
- DIRTY items
- MILDEWED items
- Items SMELLING of smoke, cigarettes or mildew
- Videos – VHS
- ENCYCLOPEDIAS
- TEXTBOOKS
- LAW CODE books
- PHONOGRAPH records
- CASSETTE tapes
- Reader’s Digest condensed books
- Sales CATALOGS or promotional materials
- NEWSPAPERS
DONATIONS MAY BE MADE AT THE CIRCULATION DESK DURING LIBRARY HOURS
